Abstract This research is devoted to solving the control issue of a class of discrete event systems with disturbances and subject to Mutual Exclusion Constraints (MECs). More precisely, a new technique for designing control laws is proposed to ensure the satisfaction of MECs in Timed Event Graph (TEG) networks with some uncontrollable input transitions. A set of Min-Plus models is used to describe the network behavior, and linear Min-Plus inequalities are used to characterize the involved constraints. Sufficient conditions are suggested for the existence of control laws guaranteeing these MECs for partially observable TEGs. Hence, the efficiency of the described control strategy is illustrated by an application to a disassembly network.
