Summary:Strategies for spectral analysis of high-resolution NMR spectra have been examined. In this report, a fast algorithm based on the use of integral transforms is also described. The method was developed and tuned with a special emphasis on analysis of complex high-resolution spectra containing much coupling information. The principles of the integral transform method are illustrated, and two examples, the spectral analyses of the AA′BB′XX′ spin system of 1,2-difluorobenzene and the ABCDEFXY system of exo-2-syn-7-norborn-5-enediol, are discussed in detail.
