Influences of temperature, time, and ethanol volume fraction in the preparation solution on the crystallite size of SnO2 nanoparticles were evaluated. The degree of influence of the synthesis variables was obtained. These results can provide valuable guidance in determining or modulating synthesis conditions. By varying synthesis conditions, the crystallite sizes can be modulated in the range of 2.4–16.9 nm. Additionally, this study identified the optimal conditions for achieving the largest crystallite size through the Taguchi method.
