The prototype described here belongs to a second type of sensor realised at the University of Naples, and it is called DIME-2 in order to distinguish it from the first type DIME-1 sensor. After the mathematical model, reported in a previous work, in this paper the experimental characterisation of the DIME-2 is presented and discussed.
