Summary:Orthogonality is an important concept in design of experiments. In the block design context, when a design is not orthogonal, some measures of or indices to non-orthogonality and characterization of designs possessing minimum non-orthogonality indices are available in the literature. In this paper, for the row–column design set-up, similar indices to non-orthogonality have been proposed and designs possessing minimum non-orthogonality indices have been characterized.
