C-reactive protein accurately predicts severity of acute pancreatitis in children

The optimum cut off value was 107mg/L, producing sensitivity of 100%, specificity of 83.3%, negative predictive value(NPV) of 100% and positive predictive value(PPV) of 76.5%, and a relative risk(RR) of 4.25 (95%CI 1.80-10.01).
