Abstract In this research, it is verified whether the speed of human task processing can be accelerated by utilizing the knowledge of ICT technology and psychology. In a previous study, it was reported that listening to fast-paced sounds accelerates the pace of human action. Furthermore, it has been reported that the physiological arousal level is improved by viewing a stereoscopic image synchronized with the sound. Based on these findings, it is considered that the action pace is accelerated by combining visual and auditory stimuli, compared with the stimulation alone. In this report, we set reading as a task and conducted an experiment to see if the reading speed of characters could be increased.
