Summary: | Malignant lymphoma occurs frequently in the head and neck region, but rarely in the oral cavity. A 73-year old man was referred to our clinic complaining of the right upper jaw trouble. Clinical findings revelated swelling and ulcer on the right molargingiva. X-ray findings showed right upper jaw diffuse resorption. Histopathological examination indicated malignant lymphoma. The patient received combination chemotherapy with CHOP and radiotherapy. Tumor disappeared after therapies and there has been no recurrence. So maxillofacial prosthesis: was applicated. |
