Effects of Noncontrolled Diabetes on LDL Levels of Atherosclerotic Patients on and off Statin Therapy: A Preliminary Study

Conclusion Results of this preliminary study in patients with known atherosclerotic coronary artery disease found that patients with uncontrolled diabetes undergoing statin therapy had higher LDL levels compared with nondiabetic patients undergoing statin therapy.
