Summary:The quantum computing and information technology has emerged as an important area of research and development. It is a promising field as it is believed to solve many problems here to not possible with classical computer. The objective of this article is to present a review and tutorial of quantum computing, quantum teletransport and quantum security. It gives the basic introduction of the subject, compares aspects with those of classical computers in terms of basic information processing units, gates, key exchange and reports practical designs available in the literature.
