ChemInform Abstract: Silver-Mediated Fluorination, Trifluoromethylation, and Trifluoromethylthiolation of Arynes

In contrast to established syntheses of related compounds, which utilize aromatic precursors the present approach starts from non‐aromatic building blocks exploiting the electrophilicity of arynes for ring closure and introduction of fluorine‐containing groups.
