| Abstract | En época de pandemia, la educación virtual ha tomado protagonismo dentro de los distintos procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Por ello, la presente investigación buscó analizar cómo el uso de las TIC puede aportar al aprendizaje cooperativo en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de Ciencias Naturales en niños de Tercer Año de Básica de la Unidad Educativa Luis Rogerio González de la ciudad de Azogues. Para ello, se utilizó un diseño cuasi experimental, sustentado en un paradigma epistemológico cuantitativo de pre y post tes, tipo explicativa de cohorte longitudinal. Dando como resultado que el uso de recursos TIC motiva a los estudiantes a adentrarse en la asignatura y a trabajar en equipo. Por ello, se pudo concluir que las ventajas de su aplicación dentro del aula de clases son varias, desarrollando en los estudiantes habilidades duras como blandas.

In times of pandemic, virtual education has taken center stage within the different teaching-learning processes. For this reason, the present research sought to analyze how the use of ICT can contribute to cooperative learning in the teaching-learning process of Natural Sciences in children of the Third Year of Basic School of the Luis Rogerio González Educational Unit of the city of Azogues. For this, a quasi-experimental design was used, based on a quantitative epistemological paradigm of pre and post tes, explanatory type of longitudinal cohort. Resulting in that the use of ICT resources motivates students to enter the subject and to work as a team. Therefore, it could be concluded that the advantages of its application within the classroom are several, developing hard and soft skills in students.
