Abstract Shearer ’s working environment is very bad,the shearer rocker torque shaft play a vital role in mining.It becomes necessary to analyze the relevant state and response in poor condition.Based on ANSYS Workbench,shearer rocker torque shaft in finite element modeling and static,dynamic characteristics is analyzed.Through static analysis,the stress,strain distribution about torque axis in the cutting motor power 3 times are got.According to the actual working conditions of the torque shaft for the transient analysis,the torque shaft stress,strain and torsion angle of the response in two extreme conditions are simulated.The protection effect is verified.Then it is compared about the results of static analysis and transient analysis.It provides reference and basis to further study of torque shaft.
