Bimetallocyclophanes Formed by the π−π Stacking Interaction Approach and Fluorescent Chemosensing Behavior

A new high-yielding synthetic approach for the preparation of bimetallic cyclophane has been achieved through the π−π stacking interaction approach from the flexible ligand 1 and group 11 metal M+. The Cu complex 2a can act as a fluorescent chemosensor for benzenediacetonitrile.
