Abstract | ドブネズミにおけるハンタウイルス感染の流行病学的研究を, 北海道内の1ごみ埋め立て処分場に棲息する感染ドブネズミ集団を対象に実施した. 1983年から1988年まで本処分場で合計11回の調査を継続し, 合計279例のドブネズミを捕獲し, 血清を得た. 抗体陽性例(IFA抗体価1:32倍以上)はいずれの調査時にも得られ, 陽性例は6ヵ月齢以上の成熟例では128例中94例(73.4%)で, 幼若例での151例中23例(15.2%)に比べ有意に高い, 明瞭な年齢依存性の感染が確認された, 抗体陽性ドブネズミの肺組織から1983年には1株(KI-83-262), 1985年には2株(KI-85-1, -2), 1988年には4株(KI-88-4, -11, -15, -24)のハンタウイルスが分離された. 分離ウイルスの感染性は, ウイルス分離例から得られた血清によってin vitroの試験で中和されるにもかかわらず, それらの抗原性は, 分離年次にかかわらず免疫血清や単クローン性抗体を用いたIFA法では全く, また中和試験でもわずかしか変化は認められなかった. 以上の成績からハンタウイルスはドブネズミ中で抗原性を変化させずに持続感染していることが明らかになった. |
